(1) “Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” ~ Matt. 6:34
~ Worry is working overtime for no pay.
(2) Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy times seven. ~ Matt 18:21-22
A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.” ~ Prov. 19:11
80% of life is water under the bridge. You just have to move on.

(3) “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15).
~ If the Kingdom of God is a latte, then the Gospel is an espresso. You can drink an espresso straight up but you cannot give a latte without the espresso. The espresso constitutes the Kingdom.
The espresso is the Gospel, short and straight. The Kingdom of God is the aroma of the Gospel.
No decaf in Heaven, btw.
(4) “But the Lord said to my father David, ‘You did well to have it in your heart to build a temple for my Name” (2 Chr. 6:8).
~ God commended David even though the idea would not come to fruition. This is still significant. We will fail at something in life and that does not mean, that God is somehow unhappy with us.
