(29) Is God For Me?

… If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? … ~ Romans 8:31

Suppose you set out to take care of some project. The first thing that happens is that you get hit with some obstacle. You pray and clear it and keep going on. Then you get hit by another obstacle. So, you once again pray and it clears and you keep moving on.

Two Ways to Reason:

Now suppose that obstacles keep coming. At some point, you can stop and ask yourself “If God is really for you?” in this because after all, obstacles keep coming at you, one after another.   On the other, you can reason that, since, you overcame so many obstacles, God indeed is for you.
