Psalm 34 contains several uses of the word all, but four stand out. They share a parallel structure, center on divine deliverance, and urge us to cry out to God. These four alls are for us all.
- I sought the Lord, and he answered me; He delivered me from ALL my fears (v.4).
- This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; He saved him out of ALL his troubles (v.6).
- The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from ALL their troubles (v.17).
- The righteous person may have many afflictions, but the Lord delivers him from them ALL (v.19).
~ Psalm 34
These four verses urge us to seek, to call, and to cry out to God. Nothing is too big. Nothing is too small. Nothing is too trivial to send up to God.
Send it up—send it all up.
Many of God’s promises are like rings you wear—each suited to a different occasion. Some fit joy. Some fit grief. Some are for waiting, others for walking. But these four? You can wear them on every occasion.
So when trouble knocks, make sure you’re already wearing those four rings — and then go knock on God’s door. I’ve done it often—to much profit.

Prayer: ~ I strongly recommend reading said Psalm and then going back to the above four verses and then praying through all your fears, troubles, and afflictions. Just tell God what they are and from the verses above, remind God of something from them.
E.g. Tell God that He hears when we call and what are the troubles of yours that you wish for Him to consider.
